SWM fabric\u00f3 motos de Cross y enduro\u00a0en los a\u00f1os 1970 y 1980. Comenzaron con peque\u00f1a producci\u00f3n de\u00a0motos con motores alemanes Sachs de enduro y fabricaron prototipos con motores austr\u00edacos Rotax\u00a0en 1977. En esos a\u00f1os los fabricantes principales eran Fantic Motor, Bultaco y Montesa (Hablando de Europa) En 2014 dentro del Sal\u00f3n ECIMA en Mil\u00e1n, la marca SWM reaparece en escena, con seis motos de calle y enduro entre 300 y 650cc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PERO a alguien se le escap\u00f3 una foto de la futura moto de Cross de la marca, aparentemente 250cc. Tengamos en cuenta que el\u00a0Ingeniero Ampelio Macchi, anteriormente con Cagiva, Aprilia y Husqvarna, est\u00e1 impulsando el resurgimiento de la marca SWM con la financiaci\u00f3n de la empresa China a trav\u00e9s de Shineray. SWM mantendr\u00e1 la fabricaci\u00f3n en Italia. Al parecer, algunos de sus motores ser\u00e1n adquiridos a partir de los viejos Husqvarna (motores reemplazados por unidades de KTM tras la adquisici\u00f3n por parte de Peirer). PERO esta moto de Cross, se est\u00e1 haciendo en Sussex, Inglaterra, donde alguna vez SWM tambi\u00e9n tuvo sede.
