MXGP: Empieza una temporada apasionante… Y les contamos como ver las carreras EN VIVO!

Estamos a solo una semana de que Inglaterra en Matterley Bassin, ponga en su maravilloso circuito a los mejores del Mundo de Motocross. El campeonato comenzó en 1957 como continuación al Campeonato de Europa que se había disputado desde 1952. Había una sola categoría, los 500 cc, pero en 1962 se incluye la de 250 cc y en 1975 la de 125 cc. Luego desde 2003, las categorías cambian sus nombres a MX1, MX2 y MX3, siendo esta última excluída del Mundial en 2013. En 2014, vuelve a cambiar el nombre de la categoría reina para llamarse MXGP como hoy la conocemos, la 250 (4T) quedó como MX2, y se agregó el Mundial Femenino conocido como WMX.

The championship began in 1957 as a continuation of the European Championship that had been played since 1952. El mundial de motocross comienza un año que apunta a ser inolvidable. En 250, el paso de Prado a MXGP obligado por ganar dos títulos consecutivos, pero con SOLO 18 AÑOS DE EDAD, sin dudas que lo pone en una posición excelente para batir récords de victorias y campeonatos. Pero además, que un neto dominador como lo fue el español no esté mas en la categoría de menor cilindrada, abre las puertas para un enorme número de pilotos capaces de ganar y luchar por la corona. Hay favoritos por lo que se vio en el año anterior: Tom Viallé siendo la revelación, Tomas Kjer Olsen es muy contundente y fuerte, Jago Geerts, Henry Jacobi, Adam Sterry, Maxime Renaux, Calvin Vlaanderen, y la lista continúa.

Pero sin descuidar que Honda con el equipo HRC quiere mantener una corona que ansían Kawasaki, Yamaha, Husqvarna y aunque lo deseen no será fácil para los equipos privados conseguirla, pero con empeño y fuerza ya hemos visto cosas increíbles en MXGP.
