MXGP was running in Argentina. We had coordinated with Natali and Cristian , who are the parents of Nachito Díaz, to visit the World Championship boxes in Villa La Angostura with some things already prepared and some unforeseen. The visit to Jorge Prado was already a fact, but others arose that we did not even think about and I want to tell you about them because they deserve to be written down.
When we met Tim back in 2014 thanks to Andreja Prel, we knew he was a great driver but we didn’t know him as a person. Today yes and that’s why we highlight it. We talk about his ability as a pilot all year, today we want to highlight what you are going to read.

Our work allows us to have certain privileges, which with all the respect that each of the protagonists deserve, we use to reach places that are not usually easy to enter.
We arrived at the HRC Honda team box, and we chatted with Marcus Pereira de Freitas, who is General Manager of Team HRC to tell him Nachito’s story and we talked to Tim the next second who came over to listen to what he had to say.
I DO NOT DOUBT IT.
He says to me: “Would you give me a second please?” While I watched him enter the reserved area where no one usually enters. He took one of his goggles, new and with all its disposables, and the case. He asked me to accompany him to where Nachito and his parents were and with a huge smile he signed it and handed it to him.
I held back tears. For my passion and for the passion of that child who received more life in a gift.
And that’s TIM GAJSER, the world champion. Humanity, humility, good people.
A clean driver on the track, and everything else off it. For this and many other things I admire him, for his story also of that number 243.
Congratulations Tim, Marcus and the whole team!!!
I remembered an old advertisement for the brand in the USA: Good people know each other on a Honda.
Thanks also to Natali and Cristian, for allowing me to be part of the happiness of a motocross rider, who only found another obstacle on the track of life, but will overcome it with a scrub!
